From Pflugerville Roots to Hutto Pride

Tiffany and Daniel Raney, the husband-and-wife duo behind Lone Star Hat Company, both grew up in Pflugerville, TX. In 2009, Daniel made the move to Hutto, while Tiffany pursued higher education at UTSA, earning two degrees before continuing to UT Health to become a Registered Nurse.

In 2018, Tiffany returned home to serve her community, balancing her ER nursing shifts with her growing passion for creating custom designs. Today, while she still works as an ER nurse twice a month to keep her skills sharp, her full-time dedication is poured into perfecting every order at Lone Star Hat Company.

Meanwhile, Daniel built an impressive background in heavy equipment hauling, farming, and hands-on craftsmanship—embodying the classic Texas spirit of being a "jack of all trades." His commitment to family and community shines in every interaction and every project completed at Lone Star Hat Company.

Building a Dream, One Stitch at a Time

In 2019, Tiffany and Daniel founded Lone Star Hat Company with big dreams, a lot of heart, and an unwavering work ethic. Every order became more than just a transaction—it became a relationship. The Raneys learned new skills, built connections with local businesses, and treated every project with the care it deserved.

By 2022, their family grew with the arrival of their lively daughter, Paisley. Around the same time, Tiffany transitioned into working full-time at the business, and Lone Star Hat Company began to thrive in ways they had only imagined.

In 2023, Lone Star Hat Company celebrated another milestone by opening their first storefront. They set bigger goals, expanded their reach, and strengthened their presence in the community.

In 2024, Daniel officially joined the company full-time, marking a new chapter where the Raney family operates side by side, day in and day out.
